Truth of UPTU engineering colleges,cumulative Ranking of UPTU colleges.-PART 2..

The recent years have seen major IT giants like ADOBE,MICROSOFT,and IBM visiting the government UPTU institutions which erstwhile were confined to IITs and top NITs only and this can be marked as a major development for UPTU stundents.
Its a fact though that these major companies recruited considerably fewer students as compared to thier counterparts in centralised institutions like IITs but that can be credited to the availibility of only a few students that posses the requisite qualities of a world class enginees as expected by these companies.

Major IT companies recruit considerably fewer students as compared to what the 'MASS RECRUITERS' like TCS,INFOSYS,HCL,WIPRO etc normally do.But the package given by the Major IT giants varies from 5 lacs per annum to 9 lacs per annum for UPTU students and the package for MASS RECRUITERS varies from ''1.8-2.0-3.8'' lacs per annum depending upon the company involved.
These Major IT giants visit ONLY AND ONLY THE CAMPUSES OF GOVERNMENT ENGG COLLEGES OF UPTU,they dnt go to pvt colleges(this is a FACT ! )
The difference in package and numbers of students selected while recruitment is due to d diff in job profiles for which the recruitment is being done and also the market stand,value and overall turnover of d respective company.
Most of the mass recruitment is done for the ''TESTING JOB'' which does not require much of the technical knowledge nd expertise at large,what it requires is some gud communications skills ,little bit of programming language(generally C)nd a good aptitude.

coparatively the selection in companies like ADOBE,IBM,MICROSOFT demands a good technical knowledge,xpertise in atleast one subject ,very good programming skill,good communication skill in english ,sum xtra curricular achievements plus a good academic record.
